The Box Show is a benefit for GRO with the proceeds going towards the funding of community outreach projects including Artists in the Schools, The Latino Photography Project, and Environmental exhibitions.

To celebrate Gallery Route One's 30th year, 150 Box artists chose from 3 different box sizes. This is a great introduction to art for children of all ages. It’s the most fun you can have at a gallery!

Overheard at the Box Show:

  • “I love being in the audience of this show even more than being a participant “
  • “This is the most creative gallery I have ever been to.”
  • “This is a mind bending show and inquiry into the nature of a collaborative act!”
  • “I love the box show I love everything about the box show except the fact that I am not in it
  •  “The boxes are great this year!

The closing party is full of people that really want a box, and artists that want to see who gets their box. The live auction at 4 pm. is very exciting
