GRO's Latino Photography Project is hosting a benefit dinner with six recipes of chicken mole offered by local Latino cooks from the states of Hildago, Jalisco, Michoacan, and Puebla at the Dance Palace Community Center. The dinner includes: chicken, rice, beans, salad, homemade tortillas, mole, and a traditional non-alcoholic drink. Suggested donation: $20 - $200; children 12 and under: $5. A no host bar will serve wine and Lagunitas Pilsner beer: $3 or Margaritas $6. All proceeds go to the photo project. Pre-dinner ticket purchase strongly recommended (we tend to sell out).

Buy tickets online at:  https://galleryrouteone.wufoo.com/forms/m7x3r3/, or call: 663-1347, or better still, drop by, pick up a ticket, and see three great art shows by Richard Lang and Judith Selby-Lang, Dorothy Nissen, and Eric Engstrom: Gallery Route One, 11101 Highway One, Point Reyes Station.

Our talented cooks: Elvira de Santiago from Hildago, Betty Macias from Jalisco, Juanita Romo and Maricela Mora from Jalisco, Ariana and Margarita Aparicio from Puebla, Gisela Alvarado and Laura Flores, and Luis Mora and Clothilde Chavarria all from Michoacan. Imelda Macias, Martina Roque, Raquel Garcia, and Agustina Martinez will be making rice, beans, and homemade tortillas.

GRO voted best Marin Gallery by the North Bay Bohemian and 1 of the 101 hot

spots by the editors of Marin Magazine. We are proud to be celebrating our 30th anniversary this year.
