Join us for the closing of Anthology of Unknown Music, Volume 1 on May 17, 4–7pm at the Bolinas Museum. The evening features live performances by Chris Cohen and Rhinestone Sunsets (aka the Fuckaroos aka Rhinestone Barbarians), marking a final gathering around the exhibition.
Anthology of Unknown Music, Volume 1 is a collection of musical works and visual ephemera imagined by Sonny Smith. At its core are twenty recorded songs by fictional bands and artists, expanded into a collaborative exhibition of over 30 artists. Through LP covers, sculpture, and multimedia works, each contributor builds onto Smith’s evolving musical mythology.
