Fibershed’s Free Family Winter Clothing Care & Swap

Rhonda Kutter
Rhonda Kutter • February 2, 2026

You’re invited to a free family-focused skill share and clothing swap at the Fibershed Learning Center – Come join us! Enjoy some hot cocoa and have some fun!

Swap: Bring your 100% natural fiber clothing or even a garment that is hand-knit with natural fibers to swap for an item of equal value. The swap will feature clothing from Fibershed’s archive and a range of wool, cotton, flax and hemp garments that are ready for a good trade.

Repair: We will also open the mending bar and host a skilled guest teacher who can support anyone seeking to learn how to repair their garments— bring your hole-ridden sweater that you want to repair!

Skill Building: A children’s felting activity will provide a wonderful opportunity to work with our locally grown wool, and make your own felt goods.

Pop-up: Forager’s Den will debut a suite of freshly screenprinted up-cycled garments for sale. Each garment is beautifully illustrated with hand-sketched botanic illustrations.

Please get your free tickets via Eventbrite to help assure you a spot--everyone is welcome!
