Our monthly conversation ~ about growing food locally for greater community resilience ~ takes place on Zoom on Thursday, May 26th from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM.
This meeting will touch upon neighborhood networks to share resources and harvests; report on the wonderful garden visits we enjoyed on April 30th (including Bing and Eleanore's, pictured here); and ~ importantly ~ seek more volunteers to help "glean" surplus produce from the Point Reyes farmers market. Help wanted!
Plus, share your latest garden note or question during a round-robin conversation.
All who belong to the Google group "Local Food Resilience" (part of West Marin Climate Action) will receive an agenda by May 20th and a Zoom invitation by May 25th.
In order to join this group, go to www.westmarinclimateaction.org/contact-us and complete the form ~ indicating Local Food as your top climate interest. You'll be added to the Google group.
And... anyone can join the Local Food Resilience conversation here on West Marin Commons. It's a group just like Share and Marketplace and a bulletin board for questions, advice, resources such as seedlings, and more!
(Note that our meeting invitations are sent just to the Google group mentioned above.)
