June 14 is Flag Day and Trump’s birthday—and he’s throwing himself a $45 million military-style birthday parade in Washington, D.C. In response, Indivisible National and a broad national coalition are organizing NO KINGS - a nationwide Day of Defiance.  There will be protests, rallies, banner drops and other events all over the country.  These events are not only to protest the mean-spirited actions of kings and wannabe kings, but to celebrate our rights, our values and our American ideals.

Our message is simple:  In America, We don’t do kings!  Trump and his cronies have defied our courts, deported Americans, disappeared people off the streets, attacked our civil rights and slashed our social services.  The corruption has gone too far.  No thrones!  No crowns!  No kings!  

As part of the nationwide mobilization, Indivisible West Marin is joining with other local grassroots groups in Marin to coordinate a massive, county-wide protest with 20+ sites. These have been strategically selected for their high traffic volume and visibility. Together, it will be one loud and united stand against Trump’s grift and power grab.  We need as many people as possible to show up!

• The intersection of Levee Road (Sir Francis Drake) and Highway One in Point Reyes Station 
• The intersection of Sir Frances Drake and Highway One in Olema 
• The intersection of Sir Frances Drake and Montezuma Ave in Forest Knolls
• If these are not convenient for you, pick another Marin location that is.  

By having smaller events all across the county, we hope to keep safety a top priority and mitigate overcrowding and traffic congestion in any one location.  Having multiple sites will allow more people to attend closer to their homes and jobs.  

Please bring your own protest sign.  We will have the same graphics all over the county.  Cut a heart-shaped sign from sturdy poster board (a good size is around 18"x24" or larger).  The message is  “NO KINGS, YES _______” (Fill in the blank with what you believe in— like democracy, healthcare, education, social security, the law, the people, etc.)

Get bold and creative. This country needs more love for people—not billionaires.
