This brief presentation will feature Tómas Inda Barrera, Cuban photographic educator and owner of the Havana School of Creative Photography, with an introduction by local social-documentary photographer Charles Anselmo. In the U.S. for the first time in order to participate in an exhibition of his work, Barrera will discuss his personal journey as the originator of a private, non-government art school. While demonstrating some of his own photographic prints he will also talk about the diversity of arts education in today's Cuba.
