Artists’ Exchange is a group created by and for artists to share artwork and a place for a community of artists to share resources and opportunities, and to connect online.
Grab a glass of wine or tea, and let’s talk about art!
Each month the host, Pamela Blotner, invites artists to share their work, ideas, and processes. The group is then invited to join the conversation. This month, she welcomes Mimi Chakarova, an independent Bay Area filmmaker who for 15 years covered global issues that examined conflict, corruption and the sex trade. Currently, she is the founder and creative director of Still I Rise Films, a documentary and animated series about resilience and rising above the odds.
