It is time, once again, for the 26th annual Box Show at Gallery Route One! If you know, you know.

The Box Show is GRO's biggest fundraiser of the year. 150 people receive a plain wooden box (this year, built by 2 sophomore girls from Tomales High), and 2 months later they bring it back as a work of art. The variety and creativity is astounding. If you've never been, consider this your cue to go!

We are having a 'soft opening' of the Box Show at this month's Art Walk on August 2nd, 5-7. The Opening Reception for the Box Artists is happening on Saturday, August 3rd from 3-5. The will be Live Music, Food, Drink, Ice Cream Cones, and Boxes- Lots of Boxes!

Bidding will take place online. Visit https://secure.qgiv.com/event/theboxshow2024/  There you may view the auction once it goes live on Friday, 8/2 at 5pm (nothing to see prior to that). This is also where you register to be a bidder. Just follow the prompts. Proceeds from the Box Show fund our operational overhead and all of our programs including: The Artist Member Exhibition Program, The Visiting Artist Program, Artists in the Schools, Fellowship Program, Latino Photography Project, and the Artists' Exchange.
